The Blue Ribbon Ceremony

Creating a Miracle in a Moment

WHAT IS THE BLUE RIBBON DREAM?

Building everyone up and bringing out their best through the power of acknowledgement. Created by Helice Bridges and featured in the best-seller, "Chicken Soup For the Soul", the Who I Am Makes A Difference Blue Ribbon Ceremony has acknowledged thousands of people in corporations, associations, schools and businesses.

WHY THE BLUE RIBBON CEREMONY?

We live in a society focused on the negative. Too often people only hear what they've done wrong. Too often they feel that who they are doesn't matter. Too often this leads to a society filled with people feeling a sense of anger, apathy and alienation. Too often this triggers all forms of crime, violence and social decay. The Blue Ribbon Dream is an important step toward creating a greater sense of individual self-worth and dignity. All people need to realize that they do matter and can make a difference in their lives, the lives of others and in the world around them.

HOW IT WORKS

Dick Caldwell, a graduate of the Blue Ribbon Academy in California, is a certified facilitator for the Blue Ribbon Ceremony. this acknowledgement celebration can be part of one of Dick's regular presentations or it can be an entire program. It is a wonderful way to end a convention or to honor people in your organization. Self esteem and productivity increase when feelings and emotions are acknowledged. Dick would be glad to explain the many variations of the ceremony. There is no extra cost for adding this to Dick's presentation. He offers it as a value-added option because he knows it has power.

"When we are able to accept the best in ourselves, we are able to see the best in others."
